Accessibility
We want the website, the app and the emails people build with it to work for everyone. Here is where we are.

Our approach
We aim for WCAG 2.2 level AA. This is a goal we test against, not a certification: we haven’t had an independent audit yet.
What we check
- Every release runs automated axe checks on the public pages and the main app screens, and fails on serious or critical issues.
- Text and controls meet AA colour contrast; focus is always visible.
- Menus, the FAQ, forms and the slice editor’s cut lines work from the keyboard. Cut lines can be moved with the arrow keys and removed with Delete.
- Pages reflow at 200% zoom and on small screens, and respect reduced-motion settings.
Known limitations
- The slice editor is a visual tool built for desktop screens; below 1024 px wide it asks you to switch to a larger screen.
- Adding a cut or a column split is easiest with a pointer; keyboard alternatives for every editing action are still in progress.
- Screenshots on the website have text descriptions, but the small text inside them isn’t readable on its own.
The emails you build
Image-based emails can shut people out. Email Slicer drafts alt text for every slice, lets you mark purely decorative slices, and can turn any slice into live text, so the important words still reach people using screen readers or with images turned off.
Feedback
If something doesn’t work for you, email hello@emailslicer.io with the page and what happened. We reply within two business days and tell you what we will fix.
